HELIANTHUS is a complete mammography solution optimized for digital imaging in breast cancer screening and diagnostic procedures. It is composed of: - Mammography Unit with Tungsten biangular X-Ray tube and Direct Conversion Amorphous Selenium detector 18x24 cm or 24x30 cm format; - X-Ray control and image Acquisition Workstation integrated with protective barrier for the operator. The Amorphous Selenium is the most advanced technology to produce the highest signal/noise ratio and greater efficiency than other known technologies. The combination of a Tungsten X-Ray tube with Rhodium filter allows minimum patient dose maintaining the best image quality for all breast thicknesses. The Acquisition Workstation is complete of mammo tools to set the exposure parameters and the ACR view, graphic tools to manipulate images, DICOM tools, HIS-PACS-RIS Interface. It is in accordance with DICOM 3.0 MG, IHE (PIR, SWF, MI) and CONNECTATHON 2007. Optionally is available a professional Workstation for medical image presentation and processing. It’s inclusive of High Resolution 5 MPixel Dual Headed Digital Flat Panel Display System, Software for images management and processing, DICOM 3.0 MG Conformity, HIS-PACS-RIS Interface.
